Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi - PlayStation 5

I dig obscure games. Most often it's the more independent games that fit the craving although I play the big titles as well. This game slipped between the cracks for me and I'm glad I snagged it up for a reasonable price. It had decent reviews when I looked it up, but what stood out to me was the art style, which is why I purchased it. The actual gameplay was better than expected and I think it's worth the price for what you get, especially if you like mixing it up on play styles and genres. The whole thing was a bit of nostalgia as it's a fresh look for a more traditional or classic feeling play style. Enough mystery and uniqueness to make it feel different…yet also sorta familiar. The scenery and tunes help create a suitable vibe, plus the bosses were cool (which is absolutely critical). Overall I think this was a good get for me. I think others might dig it if they're into this sort of stuff too.
