I love these shirts! They are cotton! I buy men's, instead of women's because they started making what they call t shirts, and must be importing them from another country that uses that cheap stretchy sweaty material! Not cotton! ALL the shirts should be all cotton!
Husband needed these as throw away shirts for a bad cut he developed and would leak through but he liked them so much we ordered a few more packages to be under shirts casual day or lounging shirts etc really excellent quality for the price and soft to the touch
XL is very tall/long Definitely needs washing before first wear because very stiff %26 itchy which goes away. Almost starchy. Still 5 stars. Best thinnest all cotton shirts for summer. 2$ each I can't go wrong. I buy new ones every couple years. Plenty of old ones left. It's hard to find affordable..
I'm very happy with this undershirt. It's perfect for summer, thin and comfortable, just as I wanted. Compare this to some T-shirts on the market that are so thick and heavy, you might as well put a sweater on. (I'm talking about you, big warehouse club.)
I normally wear a 2x in regular shirts but for whatever reason I have to buy a 3x with these... I really only wear these to bed and I like them a little roomy, I'm really not a person who likes my shirts snug tight to my body so if you're one of those people who likes that, these might work for you. Otherwise these are really comfortable and a great quality undershirt, I've been buying these for years.
I washed these (only these) before I used them, and the hem/seams came out of 2 of them and they turned an off white color. They were the only thing in the load and I even put bleach in with it so i don't know why they came out worse than they went in.
I like the feel of the cotton with these shirts. I've had "Fruit of The Loom" comfort blend or.? that feels softer but thinner?? They were Rayon and Polyester blend. They feel like they cling to you more . These Hanes shirts however, are 100% cotton. There is nothing that feels like or wear like it. I wear these to sleep in or just piddle around outside. You can't go wrong with the multi packs. I'm replacing the same type that I've worn too long and the collars are frayed but no other rips or tears. White You can't go wrong in the sun. 100% cotton so allow shrinkage over time.
These are very bottom of the barrel undershirts, and certainly not the quality of the higher end Hanes undershirts. They are very thin, basically see through, and I imagine they won't hold up after a few washes. I wouldn't purchase again unless extremely short on funds. I do run through undershirts rather quickly, but I still don't see this version as part of my rotation.
Hanes used to make high quality white men's t-shirts, but they have switched designs and are using very thin materials. The neck design is poor, too thin, and the t-shirt has no body. When my wife washed them, she noticed how thin they were. I recently purchased Gildan soft white men's t-shirts, and I found them to be vastly superior. Hanes, revert to your older designs and make them in the USA!
1st %26 last time I will purchase Hanes white T's from Walmart. Can't criticize the price: under $2 each, but the fit just isn't right. I am a small framed size L and Hanes T's ALWAYS have a generous, comfortable fit. I purchased two 6 packs of T's and all are tight: cut into the armpit, sleeves super short, body too long and snug. Don't mind the skimpy fabric weight ‘cause they were bought for summer temps. These are size M specs packaged as LARGE! Shame on Hanes and Walmart!; Where's your quality control!
