uni-ball KuruToga Mechanical Pencil, 0.7mm, HB #2, 1 Count

This is so cool, I wish I had known about these sooner. My son and myself are using these all the time now. They write so smooth and are very comfortable to write with. I love all Japanese writing tools so much.

After trying several disappointments, this mechanical pencil beat them all. The lead glides across the paper making a neat line just the right shade. Easy to use. I feel as though i can depend on this pencil to last. The build quality is excellent. Will update my review if necessary but for now it is perfect.

Bosses favorite, sold out everywhere except Walmart. 10 out of 10 recommend.

A wonderful mechanical pencil. I've researched Kuru Toga pencils before, but this starter set is the best deal hands down. The graphite still hasn't broken yet and I use it almost every day. If you have cursive handwriting, however, the engine doesn't spin will and you might get an edge still. Otherwise, it's literally the perfect pencil.

Junk. Bad design %26 poorly constructed with cheap, weak materials. Tried 2 of these, and both broke before the first lead was done. A little side pressure and the tip breaks away from the body and the pencil becomes completely useless. The oversized %26 odd body construction is uncomfortable and awkward - it's like trying to do fine work with a magic marker tube. There are much better choices for better prices - don't waste your money here.
