It works well! The lead does actually spin, and it doesn’t wear into a brittle point. Because of this I have yet to break the lead while writing (and I normally break lead all the time)
The perfect mechanical pencil for all my needs. Works great and the extra lead and erasers are such a plus.
The pencil is very easy to use. The flow is nice. The tip stays sharp and uniform. Worth the cost.
Very smooth and didn’t break easily.
It's a Uni Kuru Toga, but a .7mm, not a .5mm as listed in the description. I prefer a smaller leaf, but may buy another in the correct lead size.
Good but eraser runs out quickly and should come with more lead 😡
Similar to the other reviewers, I too desired a 0.5mm lead, but received a pencil for 0.7mm. The picture does show a 0.7mm lead, but I figured that they had just attached the wrong photo to the listing, as the listing said it was a 0.5mm lead pencil. Do not order this pencil, unless you are seeking 0.7mm lead.
Junk. Bad design %26 poorly constructed with cheap, weak materials. Tried 2 of these, and both broke before the first lead was done. A little side pressure and the tip breaks away from the body and the pencil becomes completely useless. The oversized %26 odd body construction is uncomfortable and awkward - it's like trying to do fine work with a magic marker tube. There are much better choices for better prices - don't waste your money here.
As stated in another review, the item received was 0.7mm. It was expected, and I decided to keep it anyway. As for the pencil, the sharpening gimmick makes for a squishy feel while writing. The eraser is small, loose, and useless. Not impressed.
This item broke before even a year of infrequent use. It writes REALLY well, but it is clearly not designed to last. Just buy BIC mechanical pencils and call it a day. BIC also doesn't last long, but at least you're not paying nearly $10 per pencil.
