[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This filter is made incredibly well. It is very thick, sturdy, layered filter that is very closely folded. This allows for maximum fine particle filtration- which is something I look for in pool filters. If you think about it, you have essentially still water contained in an area and that water is constantly exposed to new and different things like human skin, dust, dirt, hair, germs, food, human and animal substances… it is kind of gross. For all those reasons we treat pools with chemicals to kill off the bacteria and organisms living or wanting to live in our pools, but killing them doesn't remove anything from the pool, it just breaks it down. This filter allows for fine particle filtration and it has worked great so far. Perfect timing too because it has already gotten so hot and we're not even in summer yet!
