these were the exact kind I needed for my uniden cordless phobne

These batteries were listed specifically as nickel-cadmium batteries, but what I received were nickel-metal hybride batteries. I realize this new type of battery is replacing the old nickel-cadmium ones. HOWEVER, even though these batteries are listed as specifically for my Uniden phone model, these batteries definitely do NOT fit in my Uniden phone. They are too large. If I try to force them somewhat so that they seat as best as possible in the correct position, they are still too large for the back cover to fit back onto the phone. Since this seller has no agreement with WalMart for these batteries to be returned, I am entirely out my money for batteries that are useless to me at no fault of my own. Super disappointed.

They are the wrong size battery. need to return them.
