Uniden D1760 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phones with DECT 6.0 technology & Speakerphone

I purchased this phone 18 months ago when my other portable phone died and needed a battery. The battery for that phone would have cost almost as much as a new phone, so I decided on this one. So far, I have had no problems with this phone. When I'm not using it, I keep it in the charger. It's easy to use. Displays the number on the screen of all incoming calls, has a memory of all incoming calls, voicemail and speaker phone. Reception is excellent, although I should point out that we live in a small apartment. For the price, it's a great phone and if it died tomorrow it was worth the price I paid for it. I like it so much that I purchased another one recently for my 15 year old granddaugther to keep in her bedroom since she doesn't have a cell phone.

Voices come through clear, caller ID works well and the numbers and screen light up so dialing numbers or identifing callers is easy. I particularly like the phone finder button on the base that makes the phone beep loudly when pressed so I can locate it when I lay it down somewhere. Overall an excellent phone for my purposes and I have no complaints.

I have purchased this phone before, and that's why I got another one. You can't beat the price, and the phone is just as good as the more expensive brands. I highly recommend it to anyone.

I was very surprised with this phone. For only $25, it is crystal clear and works beyond what I expected. Will surely order more of these.

This product has caller ID, call waiting, and you can store up to a 100 names and numbers. I like it because it is cordless and I can carry it all over the apartment with me.

I have used Uniden phones for several years. The only reason I had to replace a couple recently was because the battery died from age in one and lightning struck one and messed it up. I have four in my home and love them. I am familiar with all the buttons, speaker and menu on these and chose to stay with it. My newest ones are D1760. The price is very reasonable at Walmart.

I bought this phone for my 87 year old mother. She needed an extra phone in her bedroom,and as I looked on Walmart's website we found this phone to have all the features she wanted. Lighted numbers and backlight (for at night),easy to push numbers,a phonebook to store the family's numbers and easy for her to look up and dial.We had to order it for pickup at the store,and it came much sooner than the 10 days they stated.It was easy to program and she enjoys having a phone at night now she can easily answer. She is not at all into cell phones,so this was the closest I could get for her! :)

This is the second one of this model I have purchased. It replaced a corded speaker phone that went on the blink. she loves it. I highly recommend this phone.

I purchased the Uniden D1760 cordless phone because I needed a good speaker phone that was not attached to the base of the phone. The phone has some good features for an inexpensive phone and the speaker works fine, however, there is a lot of static on the phone depending upon where I am in the room. Often, when I am only 3 to 4 feet away from the base of the phone, if the receiver is just a bit too high or too low, I get so much static that others can't hear me and I can't hear them whether on speaker or not. It is frustrating because this phone is supposed to have a static restrictor in it. I will be exchanging this phone for another phone soon, as the problem with static creates too many problems with business and other calls.

Total junk. The company that made this phone took it off the shelf eight years ago, they got rid of the phone and the parts. There are no replacements if anything breaks. Is this phone the best that Walmart internal buyer had to offer? Please stand behind your brand name, or is there other junk in your stores your store that you aren't telling customers about?
