Pleasing and thank you for the opportunity .
It's a handheld CB and is good for traveling or on hunting trip I love it am a retired truck driver and thank you Walmart for getting it to me as quickly as you did !

Runs off cigarette lighter too.
You can plug it into your car's cigarette lighter and use it without any batteries. Range is about one mile, give or take. SWR is already matched to the antenna. Good sound and the back ground noise can be squalled out easily. Nice handheld CB.

Good basic emergency CB radio
Unit batteries lasted 30 hours or so with 9 AA batteries and the external power hookup is useful. Reception is not bad with original antenna but transmit can be greatly improved with an aftermarket longer whip, telescoping or a magnet mount for mobile use. Good for emergency, but not for every day transmit use without scan or dual channel monitoring.

Disappointment!!!
Cannot get it to work with batteries whether NIMH or alkaline. it does respond when using car adapter. Service was great.

Sad cb radio kit you don't get a magnet for a antenna to put on your vehicle.

Works if you are standing next to each other
The range on this is horrible. We tried to see how far it works by driving down the street. We got about 6 houses down and it wouldn't work.
