I tried this once on my 4a/4b mixed hair and it made my hair a little too straight for my liking (more like a blowout). It could have been that I just combed it too much, though. I never did try it again after that - on myself. However, I have been using this on my Dad's hair for a few years now (ever 3-4 months). He has long hair that is type 3, and it works very well for him. It loosens the curls and makes the roots smoother and more manageable.

I want to be fair, so I start off with followed the instruction to the Tee. I used only the products from box and my daughter and son hair came out like it was before. the only thing I notice was different is the back of her head looked a little thinner. I'm kind of happy it didn't worked because I went old school and chiney bump her hair. It came out so curly. I think if you're natural and afraid of any form of chemical then try did method you won't be disappointed, just wash your hair oil with Palmer olive oil Formula (with vitamin E) and chiney bump it wet. Let it dry then pull it out. That's all fork. Picture of out come below: please understand the just for kids has nothing to do with result.

I bought this month to use for my daughter because she has to make her hair ponytail with a bun because of her recital. Please i don't recommend this product especially for Africa kinky hair. My daughter's hair was damaged. She lost her hair completely after 3 days. The hair keeps falling off.I regrets ever using this. My daughter is so sad. I wonder what chemicals are there in it that is this harsh and hard that could damage hair quickly. This is not a good product for anyone 's hair let alone kids.
