Don't bother unless you just want to syphon water
I give this a 1 for it's effectiveness in removing water from the tank. That is the only thing this is good for. Using it as pictured, little to no suction power. The pump bulb is right at the top of bucket. Awkward. You have to use it with the rigid extension rod. It will not let you attach just the hose only without extension pole. I tried it that way, suction improved but kept comimg off the flex tube. Speaking of which, the tubing is thick resistant to bending to create suction. If the tubing was not so thick, where it could be to stop flow, if it could be used without the extension pole, which deminishes suction and maybe a bigger vacuum unit, it might be worth it, as is it is not.
