I bought lightbulb cameras for my home. I needed extenders so they would hang below the light enclosure. I bought a different extender and that did not work. This particular one works great. I guess the other ones aren't strong enough to power the camera. Happy as a lark.

I purchased these for a fan lights because the fixture for the bulb on the ceiling was side ways %26 this nifty little gadget, hooked it right on up %26 held it in place just fine.

This works very well with my outdoor security camera, which isn't long enough to go below the overhang on my porch. The extender helps big time! I like that it is flexible, too.
