I buy these a few times a year to store things like books and things I buy that have been used or no longer use for the time being. I love the strength of them the most. Next would be the fact that they can be stacked, very nice. They don't smell like new chemicals neither, like most new things nowadays. I will be back for more!

I was so pleased to find out I could get another 10 gallon roughneck from Rubbermaid for my laundry area. I already had an old one for "whites" but I needed one for "darks" and they are not found in stores in my area. They fit perfectly in the laundry closet under the bottom shelf. They are sturdy, and not brittle like another brand.Thank you, Rubbermaid!

I have used roughneck storage boxes for 40 years. I am a potter and I have stored glaze in them. The large one holds 150 lbs of wet glaze. Not one has ever failed. My recent order of 6 medium boxes are for downsizing my pottery in retirement. My son is carrying on the business, in fact he will carry all the pots to a craft show. They can be stacked 3 high without fear of collapse. They are the craftsmens workhorse. Thanks

I purchased 6 containers of two different sizes because I have used Rubbermaid storage boxes in the past and have been happy with their durability. Rubbermaid makes a good quality product that lasts for a long period of time and takes a little abused from multiple moves. I will always purchases these and am thankful Rubbermaid has continued to keep up the quality of their products. I use the boxes to store clothes, decorations, and blankets.

I purchased this storage box to use as a litter box. My cat is "messy" and I needed something with full coverage. I cut out a hole for entry. The quality of the rubbermaid storage box felt strong and the handles were secure (which i need when lifting this to change litter).The lid isn't difficult to lock on nor to get off. Once locked on, it does feel secure. When I saw how nice these were, part of me didn't want to cut a hole in them and could see many other purposes for them.

I have used the 'roughneck' storage containers for a number of years. I am a teacher and store books in a facility that is not climate controlled. The books are always in great shape when I open the containers each year. I was disappointed that I could not find a store in my area that sells the 'roughneck' division. I am so glad I was able to order them on-line!

We have had roughneck tubs here at my work for years. We actually bought our first set about 7 years ago and they are finally getting warn so we just bought more. I work for a school district in their print shop. We place all of our printed work to be delivered to the schools in these tubs. Our delivery drivers hand truck these tubs all over. Fantastic solution to our packaging problems. They stack well, last forever, take a beating with no problems.

These are just what I was looking for. I bought these many years ago for storing product to sell at computer shows and over ten years later, they are still holding up even after the shows aren't. Today I use them for storing food. I love that they are durable, light and stackable. I searched other containers and none had all these important features as the Rubbermaid Roughneck. I have bought hundreds of totes from Rubbermaid, all of the orders filled and delivered as promised. However, they have been out of the 18 gallon totes the last 2 months and my last order of 14 gallon totes came in 3 separate shipments with no communication from Rubbermaid. This was somewhat frustrating. Overall, the service and product is acceptable.

I have many of these totes from years ago, They have held up well. I'm not sure these new ones will be as long-lasting. Yes, they are better than the plastic ones in the stores, but these are much thinner than the old ones. I'm disappointed. Rubbermaid, Why did you change these? I would pay more just to have the older type back.
