Universal Dna Extraction Reagent System

Bought this 2 months ago for a research project. Tried two times without a successful yield. After this I contacted the company and tried to get help with it. They helped with troubleshooting and recommend I re-buy one of the solutions as the directions were unclear about storage, but overall the process did not work on the next trial. After altering steps the last step was to be completed and it was discovered that the last solution was empty and the lid had to be broken to romove it at all. After not being able to get a successful trial in and not having the final step there was no choice but to improvise with on hand supplies. Keep in mind the extraction was only attempted 3 times at this point. With a limited time until the project was to be completed, a group of 9 extractions was put together. This would total 12 and the kit claims to have enough for 30 extractions. The 12th one took the last of the cell lysis and no more tests were able to be attempted.
