Works great, easy to install
I experienced problems syncing the keypad and the remotes to my Craftsman opener. The keypad eventually worked, but the remotes were more of a challenge. My son-in-law gave me a tip that lead to success. It turned out that not all of the buttons on the remotes will work with Craftsman. When I tried syncing with the center button success was immediate. Nothing in the instructions suggested that not all buttons work with all brands of openers. Everything is working fine now. I wouldn't recommend this product to those who are not experienced in troubleshooting problems or experimenting with solutions.
The 3-button controls set up and operate perfectly. The setup instructions for the keypad, however, are impossible to follow. I doubt that anyone can explain how to "press and release the Enter button until the garage door lights flash or two clicks are heard". Does this mean to press it once and release it and wait for a response, or press it and release it repeatedly until the opener responds? After I tried it every way possible repeatedly, I checked online for YouTube instructions. Contrary to the enclosed instructions, which show the door open while programming, they say that the door must be closed during the process. Additionally they say to "press and 'HOLD' the Enter button until the garage door lights flash or two clicks are heard". This, by the way makes much more sense. Unfortunately, by this time the keypad and opener had become so corrupted by my failures that nothing would work. The keypad is useless.
