Universal Life Jacket Type Iii Youth

We needed a boating vest for one of our young family members. This one fits the four year old just right. Quality is good, too. Great value for the price.

Very inexpensive and work great! Bought for our twins to go on the lazy river at a resort in Jamaica. Weren't too big to pack in the suitcase. Unfortunately our kids freaked out when I let them float on their own, so I can't comment on how well they floated, but their heads were above water for the few moments I let them loose. Secures pretty well to the kids and with a rash guard on, they did't get any abrasions in the armpits. Our kids were 24 mos (30-ish lbs) when they wore them and it was still a bit large, not huge, but I pulled the buckles tight and the vest touched edges in the middle, however, it was secure and gave us peace of mind. I figure they can wear this for another year or two - perhaps more.

My 6 yr old son just started taking swim lessons, but felt scared of deeper waters. This gave him the confidence to go into deeper waters and allowed him to practice his kicking, armstrokes, and back and front floats. He even enjoyed jumping into the deepend w/this vest on. It clicks on securefly w/the two clasps and is adjustable and comfortable for his size. He is about 70 pounds, and about 4 ft. The wt range is up to 90 pounds, but if my son were any larger, it may become uncomfortable for him and his size. Highly recommend for any beginner swimmer to build confidence, safety and fun. :-)

item too tight around neck area. not good fit for a 4 1/2 year old

I did not like this vest at all . It did serve it’s pupose but it kept riding up on him. I had to keep tightening it but still had the same problem. He kept getting choked by this vest. My son is 52 pounds . Would not recommend

Great quality, but didn't fit my daughter. Wouldn't let me return it.

The whole reason we ordered this life jacket was because of the 3rd strap that goes between the legs. My husband comes home from picking up our order, & it is not what we ordered! There is no 3rd strap! Returning!

This life jacket will no way fit an 88 pound child. Way too small!

The vest that arrived does not have the 3rd strap, which is why we ordered this, for our young but larger child. Returning.
