These are good quality replacements. The originals that came on my multiple sprayers I have disintegrated thanks to AZ heat. Replaced them with this and haven't had any problems. Though I do keep them out of the sun on my shed. No issues like other reviewers said. Maybe they got some defective kits.
I've had my Roundup sprayer for about 4 years now and finally the seals just went out of it so it doesn't want to sealed properly so I'm going to have to get a set of seals for it and it should be good for another 4 years these things are excellent sprayers if you're having trouble with this prayer you're not very mechanically inclined all you have to do if it doesn't want to pump up put a little water right down inside along the pump handle they'll give it a little boost and then take off and you pump it up and it goes but you have to clean them every time you use them you have to fill it up with clean water and lock the handle on spray and let and let it spray until it runs out if you do this every time they will work until they wear out if you don't rinse every time you'll be farted up after two uses
I, too, had no pressure when I first put the connections together. After speaking with customer service, I realized that I was hearing air escape. The most important thing I found was to make sure the connectors were screwed down tight and straight following the grooves. If you do not screw the connectors in straight and tight, you will leak air. Therefore, it will not build pressure.
Most reviewers talked about this sprayer working for a couple of applications before the unit stopped working properly. I purchased my unit brand new on Friday, and today is Sunday. I put the unit together per the instructions. Put in the Roundup, which is mixed properly. I pumped up the unit, and it sprayed for two minutes. I did this three times, and now it won't spray at all. I have checked to make sure the line is clear, and it sill won't spray the solution. This is a very frustrating and extremely poor product. And had I seen the reviews already on this site, I would not have wasted my money on a name brand product.
Purchased a named product that would hold up better than the box stores, but after a year of difficult use, this is now trash because I cannot replace the back-flow rubber gasket and Roundup declared this as part of user maintenance while I've followed all the oil, lubrication, and proper storage over the winter while not use, so I declare this as useless as the big box store for twice the price. So very disappointed.
You need to go back to the drawing board and maybe get a farmer to test your product. The litltle strainer you have in your tank on the end of your hose will get clogged, then the product will not spray, then you have to take it out to clean it, and most people will get the pesticide, etc on there hand. Redesign this and i think you will have a decent sprayer.
I have purchased 2 and the wands fall apart a replacement wand is the same as buying another sprayer what a waste.... I clean mine out and store inside so it's not like it gets abused. This sprayer is junk pick another brand I get tired a fixing them I give it one star because you have to click something
I had the same experience as many of the other reviewers. Mine did not work properly right out of the box. The spray wand spray continuously and would never stop which makes it impostor use this spray for anything. I threw it away after my second time trying to use it. Don’t waste your money.
This is my third roundup sprayer! All before were good products; this one is a disaster!!! The hose was crimped at the container end from packaging. The pump assembly would not pressurize the contained no matter how many times it was pumped. The on off lever would not shut off until I greased it.
If there was something below a 1 star, I would GLADLY have given it. I bought the 1 gallon sprayer and being the name roundup, I figured good quality. Ugh.......no! You spend more time pumping this up than spraying. The pressure might last 3-4 seconds at the most. Highly disappointed.
