Universal Studios - Miami Vice [BLU-RAY]

Awesome movie. This directors extended cut is by far the best version. I wish they would've made sequels. Very realistic gun fights in this make this movie especially exciting and entertaining.

I already own the theatrical cut of this movie via the blu-ray two pack of Miami Vice and The Kingdom. But I found myself missing some of the scenes in the Extended Cut so I ordered this copy. While not well received in the box office, I think people are coming around to how great this movie truly was. Great acting, compelling storylines, and beautiful visuals. By the way, do not listen to the negative reviews about the quality of the disc. This movie was released in 2006 (over 20 years ago now!) and was filmed almost entirely on digital cameras. While this adds a lifelike realism to the movie, the technology was still evolving at the time and certain low light shots will have more grain as the director of photography bumped up the ISO to get the amount of light they wanted. This is solely a reflection of the technology available at the time, not the quality of the disc.

Glad to have in my movie library

Follows the original series and the characters are similar in both

It was a good movie

original product at a great price, not a bootleg

Loved this movie-had to have it for my collection

Ok movie, but I was not crazy about the Blu Ray quality of this movie.

i eould play my yellowston dvd no problem the put on this miami vice and would say no disc have yet to get to play this .So i will just stick to recent dvd

I love this movie and was really looking forward to the blu ray. Watching the blu ray for the first time and the quality alters back and forth between ultra crisp and less than VCR quality. Grainy and dark for a minute then back to perfect within the same scene. Nothing changes as far as scene lighting just garbage quality disc. VERY disappointed!
