This tripod mount is a great value for the money, simple and well-made, fits my iPad Air well, everything I was hoping for. It is plastic, so it is very slightly flexible, not rock-rigid. I am using the 3-second timer on the iPad when I take a picture with the mount so I don't have to worry about any vibration when I tap to take the picture. It is not sold as a handle, but it makes a convenient way to hold the iPad as well.

I used this for the first time today with high school students to hold an IPAD air 2. It worked great and far cheaper than the other one we had purchased in the past.

We have a 10" tablet that we wanted to use for hands free online Zoom. Works well with our tripod and hold and releases the tablet easy. And the mount was well worth the price.

No issues with iPad and no case, it fit and held well. I wouldnt walk with it clamped in but for holding for a shot its great. As for holding a large cell phone in a case, not so good. I have an iPhone 6S plus with an Otterbox case. I have to pry it into the right side 2 clamps and it holds

Received product 2 days sooner than expected. Both mounts, I Pad and Cell Phone mounts, are adjustable and fit tightly and hold firmly. Fits the tripod screw firmly and securely, with the control buttons on both devices accesable while clamped in. Have not yet tried the blue tooth shutter release on either device. Great product and priced right.

This Acuvar mount attaches to a standard tripod directly and securely. It works only in landscape mode for tablets and iPads taller than seven inches high. This cushioned mount proved acceptable for me, since I only use it landscape mode. The lock in the back should be firmly tightened by hand, so the tablet does not slip if you accidentally bump it.

Most people have a case for their ipad, right? If you do, then note that you have to peel off the small pads on this tripod mount to get the ipad to fit snugly inside the brackets. Also didn't appreciate the enclosed solicitation for a "free gift" in exchange for giving out my email.

The mounting hole for the smartphone is not the same diameter as the mounting hole for the tablet. The tablet fits my tripod but the smartphone holder will not screw on. Big waste of money and time because returning the item has not been easy either. Tried calling for return support but got nothing but ringing. Will have to send an email and hope someone contacts me. I will never buy from another party through Walmart again.
