Great mat, but I sure wish they were custom fitted to the truck the way the bed mats are! These are universal fit and will require "fitting!" Cutting these things to fit is a major pain you know where! Forget tin snips, or case cutters! I finally used a Dremel tool with a cut-off wheel, which worked very well, but definitely wear gloves and eye protection because it will throw hot rubber bits all over you!

This mat is very thick and durable. This is a drill in mat. I could not bring myself to drill holes in my brand new truck just yet so I actually am using this matting in my Yamaha Viking SXS.

It works. Simple to install. Only problem is it is already started to fade and does hold some staining from mulch and dirt. May need to pressure wash it to get it off. If you are adding the truck bed mat to your truck as well, they may not work together. I had to cut the tailgate mat to allow the tail gate to close once installed. This presented a few problems. If I simply shifted it up and out of the way, the edge would stick out of the top of the tailgate. Bad look and I had already installed it, so that meant more drilling. There could have been a few more screws to get it down in a few more spots. After install, it bows out in a few places. Chief problem was once installed, I had to cut the bottom edge so the tailgate would close. Not an easy job and it was not as neat as I had wanted it to be. It will work, but not very pleased with it. The other practical use issue I have is, if you buy a pallet of stone or something, this mat won't allow it to slide into the truck like the normal bed would, so be mindful. I had to have a pallet hand loaded as the loaded could not get it far enough into the bed to be over the axel properly. It works, but there are issues.

Not impressed ! First of all it does not match the bed mat and is a totally different texture. It was too wide so I trimmed off each edge which was no big deal. The pre countersuck holes land right on a curve of a rib at the top of the tailgate. I am not drilling 12 holes in my tailgate when it is going to look like sh*** and not fit properly. I wasted my money and cant return it now. Not happy !!! 2012 Chevy Silverado
