We have Andersen windows. The windows that open from the side instead of up and down. This was an awesome way to support our window unit in our rental. We didn't get the drillless option but for out apartment, it is fine. It drills into our window sill and is super sturdy. The directions weren't completely useless, but I'd recommend going to Google for your specific model/hardware. All in all it's a good buy, heavy duty and the screws didn't strip out or anything. Pretty good for under $30.
Perfect for small unit support
needed online instructions. thank goodness i read reviews and saw the instructions were online or i never would have known.
Does not work with storm windows. Had to extend the 45 degree wall bracket legs with "angle iron" Once that was done the rest was easy. Supports entire weight of my 8000 btu unit
Terrible instructions and didn't come with all the necessary hardware
description stated it was a non-drill support, needed six holes drilled to hold it in place as per instructions. arms that swing down towards the house only have one bolt to hold them in place actually needed two otherwise it just swings away from the house two would have held it in place. overall it worked but I had to make it work. would have returned it but needed to install the air conditioner at this time. definitely do not recommend this support, look for another one
the slide out are both for the left side, so it is open to the bugs mosquitoes and wasp bees..... expensive and not real good planning..... and missing plastic end caps. quality control sucks
The bracket had the sturdiness but the assembly did not fit accordingly to the instructions. The support beam that fits in between was not the right size it was a few itches bigger so it would not fit.
Could not even get past first screw. It snapped after going in 3/4 the way. Return.
