Dog Man removes hot dog cards. Petey puts them back. if you want a shorter game just remove some of the Petey cards before play begins.

This card game comes in a nice tin that stays closed well. The cards are bright and colorful. The directions are enclosed, but the child will most likely need an adult to read them and teach them the game.

This is the perfect game for young elementary aged kids! Dog Man is such a popular character right now. The game is super simple to understand so it is an ideal game for kids as young as kindergarten. My 10 year old thought it was a bit boring after a couple of rounds, but my nephews (5 & 8) could have kept playing it for hours on end. I would highly recommend if you are shopping for a young kid!

This is such a fun game for kids of any age to play. My 5 and 9 year old were able to play this together and get the hang of it easily. My son likes the Dog Man books, so this was perfect. My son loves playing board games and card games. This Dog Man The Hog Dog card game is the perfect fun and minimal skill game for him to play with his cousins. This game reminds me of matching games that I used to play as a child. It is perfect for children ages 5 and older with 2-4 players. As a mom I absolutely love that it comes with its own tin card holder rather then a paper box that most card games come with. The graphics on the cards are fun and funky at the same.

Dog Man the Hot Dog card game is an awesome family game. It has really simple gameplay of flipping over cards that is accessible to young kids (the instructions says 5 and up, but my 3.5 year old had a great time with it), but it still has enough variety and strategy to make it fun for the whole family. It works great with two players and is super fun with a large group. You do need a big table to play on, as there are a lot of cards which need to be spaced out. The game has really fun artwork and comes in a sturdy tin.
