Please don't quit this pizza walmart

Fd August 15, 2024

I added a little butter/onion spice mix to the top otherwise no additions, I am in love. Tastes just like the restaurant version….excellent crispy crust too.

Surprisingly Tasty

Elle June 3, 2025

I sort of love this weird little pizza. The crust is a bit cracker-ish, which is maybe normal, and the sauce and cheese were flavorful and abundant. Is it the same as you'd get in a restaurant? Uh, no. It's frozen pizza. But, sometimes you want a comfort food that you don't have to really put a lot of energy into. Make a salad and put some roasted red pepper on it, pour a glass of chianti. Yum.

Best mass market frozen pizza - def best deep dish

Michelle June 1, 2025

This is one of the best frozen pizzas on the market, at least that's easily accessible in local grocery stores. It's almost as good as ordering deep dish from the local deep dish place if you don't live anywhere near Chicago, and a sight cheaper. A hefty pie with good quality mozzarella. I'd like it even better if they put some cornmeal on the bottom of the crust. I like to add my own toppings to this version, like fresh garlic, finely sliced.

A different kind of Pizza.

Rose March 11, 2025

You may either love or hate this pizza. At first I wasn't sure. After a few bites, I loved it! The unusual part is that the cheese is underneath the sauce. Of which there is plenty of. So, dont think there isn't anycheese. It IS there and nicely melted in to a buttery , delicious, crust. So good. The sauce is not sweet. Italian sauce should not be sweet. Being Italian heritage, I am happy to finally enjoy a pizza that isnt loaded with sugar. The plain sauce may take a bit getting used to if one enjoys a sauce such as Ragu. I love cheese. So, as I do with all pizzas , I added a little more Great Value mozzarella cheese the last 10 minutes. Not the shredded or block. You need to always buy the SQUARE GV mozzarella. It melts beautifuly. Its a bit difficult to find. It is in the regular cheese section. Keep looking or ask for help. I also drizzled a teeny bit if olive oil and fresh parsley at the end of cooking. Let the pizza cool for a minute or two prior to cutting it in slices. This is a thick pizza. It dies need to "set" a bit. I will always buy this pizza. None other presently compares.

Very Good 👍

Shawna August 31, 2025

I would totally give this five stars if it had a bit more cheese like it is when you're in the restaurant. When they first released it, it had more cheese. One solution is to toss a bit more on top but when you do, the crust can get a little too hard. Still a very delicious pizza.

This is my hometown pizza that I used to enjoy, unfortunately frozen it tastes nothing like the original. Perhaps I should've cooked it in a deep dish pizza pan. It was a little soggy in the center. Too bad. I bought another, this one will be cooked in a deep dish pizza pan.

disaster zone possible

scott March 9, 2026

mine was cracked by delivery or shipping (didn't know since freezing held it all together) and the entire contents when warmed up fell through rack creating a disaster in my oven bottom. make sure you check the bottom crust is not cracked before baking .

Not so hot

Anonymous December 31, 2025

I like to have pizza the next day cold, and this one you can't do that with. The crust is very hard and thick up the sides, more like a pie crust. The cheese kind of melts into the crust, so it doesn't feel like there is much there. The texture when eating is just weird. You have to heat it up if you want it in the am. And even then, it's not right. I would pass on this one.

this is bad Chicago style pizza. there seems to be no good combination to cook it for it to be cooked correctly. this is the wnd attempt. the 1st time we tried the instructions to the letter. Result: burned crust, unbaked center. This time we tried to dlightly defrost bwfore putting into oven. result: soggy. pass. if you want chicago style pizza in Seatrle go to Delfinios in University Village.

Pathetic

Calees April 29, 2026

Couldn't even take a bite. The smell of the sauce was cheap, canned tomato sauce with no seasoning. Other people did get a bite in but no one could finish a piece it was so bad. We love pizza and have never had one so bad, no one wanted it. At double the price of edible pizzas, we expected an edible one that might be extra nice. The opposite was true.
