[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love Uno and with this set being formula 1 is even more awesome. We had so much fun playing we want to get the other sets for it. It is easy to play and the kids really enjoyed it. It’s a great addition to family game nights.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 14 year old son LOVES the UNO Elite Formula 1 card set. He was excited to go through the cards to see what drivers and tracks were shown on the cards. Then we started to play. That's when the fun began. The strategies and planning are perfect for the family that really sets out to win a game of cards. We had fun playing and he took the deck to grandma's house. Grandma is an older grandma and is usually up to trying any game once and she said she would try one hand. She won! Then she wanted to play again. After the 5th game grandma had won most of the hands and now wants her own set of UNO Elite Formula 1 cards even though she is not a F1 fan! As mom I would say that the rules for the main deck are spot on with a normal UNO game. However the symbols on the F1 cards do require using the directions until you learn them. This may be a difficult game for younger kids to play but they could play with the main deck as a regular UNO game and just enjoy the F1 cards until they are older or get the hang of the additional symbols and options for playing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Uno Elite Fórmula 1 is a great new addition to the Uno family. We had endless fun playing and learning how to play with the Elite action card. We loved the expansion cards. The black sleek color of the arcs elevates the quality.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it because it’s basically regular UNO but more fun and random, with special cards that change how the game plays, and the Formula One theme makes it cooler if you like racing, plus opening the extra packs and getting new cards adds a fun surprise each time you play.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was about like any other Uno game just with a car theme. I would never buy it, but it’s still fun to play. I don’t know how much I will use this particular deck of cards in the future, but I might
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great addition to the uno family especially for fans of formula 1. It really added an extra bit of excitement to see your favorite formula 1 drivers on the cards. I have never played an Uno version other than the original so this added a lot of new excitement.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I played this with our family of four and the overall consensus was that it was alright, but standard Uno was better. We have some F1 fans in the house and they thought the booster packs were cool, especially the foil cards. Gameplay had a bit of a learning curve using a separate player deck for the actions. There are 14 different actions, which led us to constantly use the reference guide even after playing several times. I could see us playing this every once in a while, but it isn't a game we would want to play all the time. Our older kids, 13 and 17, did okay with the game, but it was difficult for our 10 year old. I would only really recommend it if you were a F1 and Uno fan.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 12-year-old loves Formula 1 (and original Uno) and was excited to play this game, but I don't think it will make it into our regular rotation of card games. Pros: The cards are vibrant and feature F1 drivers, cars, and tracks. A highlight for my F1-loving kid. Gameplay starts with the original UNO and adds new action cards and options for ways to play. Cons: There is a learning curve as there are a lot of new actions and use of multiple cards at once that and required us to frequently check the instructions. Another big issue for us was that the symbols used on the cards were so similar (and SEVEN cards involved some type of arrow) that it was not intuitively clear what we were supposed to do with each. This might improve with continued gameplay, but it slowed us down a lot as we had to check the instructions during each player's turn. Lastly, the action cards really had nothing to do with the F1 theme and thought they could have done a better job at keeping with the theme with something like a boost card (e.g. playing 2 cards at once) or pit stop card (e.g. skip a turn).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family of 4 played this a few times and never really got into it. It was difficult to understand what the additional cards did and how to use them. We did figure out that it’s an additional discard pile for the elite action cards but we never really ended up with a discard pile for them. I’m it sure if it’s because there were only 4 of us or what. We love uno this unfortunately, just wasn’t one that we could get into.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest, we haven't played a full game yet, but it looks a bit complicated. My son was excited to see the F1 cards, but not enough to want to play it right away. He was more interested in which cars he got in the booster packs. I think F1 fans would enjoy it, but the non-traditional Uno cards do look like they add some complexity to the game (i.e. more rules to remember). I looked over the instructions, and there are even optional rules that can be added based on certain aspects of the special cards. So to that end, if you're looking for ways to have the Uno game, but add some variety, this may be a good option
