Everyone needs one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my household we love playing UNO but our schedules make it a bit difficult to play as often as we would like. My kid loves UNO and this has been great. He gets to play uno as much as he like and he likes to tell everyone about how fun it is!

Awesome little hand held game!

Amber87 October 9, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Play UNO on the go with this handy little handheld game! This is super easy to use. If you don't have players you can play against computer components. This would be great for a long trip or even game night at home, plus you don't have cards you have to pick up after the game ends. You can have up to 4 players and it has 2 levels. It already came with batteries so that was great! If you love this card game I highly suggest this!

A fun game for a wide range of ages!

renalee88 October 18, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This electronic handheld UNO game is so simple to use and allows you to play solo (unlike the traditional physical card game). You can choose 2-4 players and there are two levels to choose from. This device is small enough to fit in a small to medium sized bag so you can tote it anywhere. It would be so nice to take this game somewhere like the doctor's office or DMV to keep me occupied while I wait. You can adjust the volume, so no worries if you're trying to keep quiet in a public space. I'm not sure how well this would hold up to extreme temperatures, but I prefer to keep my UNO device in my car. My 8 year old daughter enjoys playing on long drives. The screen on this device times out fairly quickly (about a minute), so If you're wondering why the screen goes dark, you simply just need to press enter to keep playing your current game. The only thing I would change about this device is to have a larger viewing screen. It's quite small compared to the rest of device. Still, I love my new handheld digital UNO and definitely recommend this to anyone to enjoys the traditional card game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this product from UNO - Official Electronic Handheld Game - Color Screen, it is an excellent game that you can play with your family, it is a modern version since they were used to cards but this version is wonderful, I totally recommend it.

UNO = FUN

shinenlite October 20, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sons & I used to play UNO when they were growing up. Back then we had physical cards that we played the game with. My sons are now adults living in different states, while health issues keep me home bound, except for doctor appointments. My younger son sent me this UNO - Official Electronic Handheld Game with Color Screen, thinking it would be a fun way for me to pass the time. It's been so long since I have played that I had to refresh my memory by seeking out an Uno instruction video on YouTube. Once I re-learned the rules of play, I removed the game from the packaging and replaced the test batteries with 3 new AAA's. I love that this game offers 2 skill levels, allowing me to start out with the Beginner's level. I also love that the game offers the opportunity to play against up to 3 computer opponents. I tend to lose more often when playing against the computer, but I find it to be a fun way of stimulating my cognitive skills. One thing I do not like about this handheld electronic Uno game is that the screen is only 2" x 1.5". These dimensions are more than adequate for younger players, but when you are pushing 70 with failing vision, a larger screen would be a huge plus. I will say that the graphics are easier to read than I expected them to be. The card colors are bright and really stand out against the sky blue background screen. The overall size is compact & easy to hold onto. That it fits in my purse is another plus. The buttons are well placed and easy to push. Noise output is loud enough to hear, but not so loud that it is disruptive or distracting. I appreciate that the sound can be turned off when I am playing to pass time in the waiting room at my doctor's office. If this elderly mom finds enjoyment in playing this UNO - Official Electronic Handheld Game with Color Screen, (and I do); I am certain that anyone over the age of 7 would enjoy it every bit as much, if not more.

Pretty fun, but lacks polish

Benjamin January 3, 2021

I love handheld games like this, so I bought one as soon I as saw it. While it is fun, there are some issues with the quality of the device. The device itself is comfortable to hold. The buttons are in a nice layout and are easy to press. There are three volume settings (low, high, and off) for the sound effects, which are pretty good. There is also a convenient auto-off feature which saves battery without losing your progress. The game itself plays as you would expect. You can play against 1, 2, or 3 CPU players and you can choose from two difficulty levels. On Level 1, the CPU players take a couple seconds to call UNO, so it's generally pretty easy to call them out if you're paying attention (there is also no penalty for calling UNO errantly, so feel free to mash that UNO button). Level 2 is essentially the same, but much faster. The screen is plenty bright and has pretty good color. However, there are issues with the viewing angle. You can see in the screenshot that the screen is lighter on one side than the other. This is a bit uncomfortable on the eyes. There is also the occasional problem with the gameplay itself. Firstly, every time you take a turn, your cards will auto-sort (which I do like), but will also reset you to the blue cards (which I don't like). This means that if you have a bunch of red cards, you have to scroll to red every turn. Additionally, once in a while, you will draw an invisible card. Invisible cards cannot be played regardless of the color or number of the previous card. The game becomes unwinnable at that point because you can never get rid of all your cards. You can see in the screenshot that I have 5 cards, all of which are invisible. I don't know if this happens because of a programming error or because devices like these can act strange if the batteries are low. Either way, it's a pretty serious bug. All in all, the device is pretty cool, but could have been a 'must-have' with a little extra polish.

I did not like it!

Pamela December 8, 2020

I did not like this version. I love the Uno color, The screen on that one is much wider and I can see my cards and scroll through my cards much easier. it will only allow you to hit Uno after you played your second to last card where as the other version would allow you to hit the Uno key right before you play the second to the last card. This one is a flop for me. I wish that they would bring back the Uno color wide screen.
