UNO Wild Twist Playing Cards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old loves playing all things Uno! She routinely makes up her own rules to herp the games interesting for her. We routinely mix decks together for ultimate Uno. Wild twists holds it's own and so far she has no want to mix it in with other decks. It's keep her attention and intrigue. Definitely fun family game in this house.

I did miss read the package, I was thinking it was a new card game not regular cards with some suggestions to make games different. My kids loved the change ups to the classic games and have enjoyed playing the games they always have played.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a good time playing Go Fish with my kids. Wild cards help out completing hands and changes up the game nicely. Also allows for creativity because we can make up our own rules for wild cards as well.

I'm not going to bury the lead here. I love this product, but I do have a couple complaints that keep it from being a perfect 5 out of 5. What do you get? This 60 card deck includes the standard 52 ( four traditional suits with cards Ace - King in each suit) as well as 8 wild cards. There are three types of wilds: suit specific, color specific, and wilds that can be any suit or rank. How is it packaged? There is no plastic shrink wrap here. As with most of their UNO products, the deck box is "sealed" with a small circle of tape. It is not very sticky, so the box is not damaged when opening it for the first time. The deck has a small paper ring that keeps the cards together within the deck. It's nice to see Mattel being plastic conscious. Card Quality The cards are paper with a linen finish. I actually like these cards better than their standard UNO deck. The lined finish gives the cards a nice feel and they have a pleasant snap-back when shuffling. A very surprising quality for only three dollars or so. Design The only thing keeping me from giving this a perfect 5 star rating is the card design. They did a very nice job on the court cards. I enjoy their incorporation of the one eyed cards as well as the suicide king. They did very well with this. However, the Aces are quite lackluster. I like the UNO card format, but I wish the Aces had more design. It would have been nice to have a filigree pattern in the Ace of Spades at the very least. The wilds are fairly plain as well. The card back is a fun design though. Overall, I think the Wild Twists deck is a very fun idea, and I would like Mattel to continue using the UNO brand as much as possible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to play UNO with my grandchildren, but this new game “Wild Twists” is definitely different. To me it is a little harder and confusing for younger children. The game's suggested age is for 7 years and older. My grandchildren 10 and up did ok playing the game but took a while to catch on. Once my grandkids caught on to the rules we had a blast playing. It is a great way to spend quality family time together. The game is definitely different than UNO except that you still down certain cards and the winner is the one who puts down all their cards first. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Uno Wild Twists cards are a great add to your family game cabinet! It is your standard card set in the style of Uno cards and has added wild cards. They made for a great game of Speed and Spoons with our girls.

Bought this soon as I found it. Back of box says special rules for Go Fish, but I'm here on the website and no instructions on how to incorporate the wild cards. Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a decent idea, it's basically a deck of cards with extra wilds that could be used for other games. It's nothing special. I guess if you play a lot of card games while you travel this would be a good investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a standard deck of cards with a few added cards. Kids enjoyed playing a different version of slap jack but otherwise were a little disappointed. Wish there were other new ideas of games to play.
