Very handy
it is so nice to be able to add bacon flavor to sauces and sides without having to always fry some. Also, don't forget when you do fry ALWAYS save your fat its really handy to have too!

I can't say I would not recommend it. I put a tablespoon in a pot of beans I seasoned w bacon ... no after taste. but I really can't say any enhanced taste either
