Definitely take some time to get used to if you never use one before. I do like it had to read the description on the site, no paperwork came with it. The different settings goes One Direction for a few minutes, then stops and goes in reverse without you having to do anything with it. I really like it keeps me moving while I'm sitting watching TV at night not able to get outside.
I am Davids wife and I bought this for our son who is 60 and has had MS for over 40 years an his legs have always given him a problem. But since he uses this a couple times a day he has noticed some strength in his legs and it has helped his walking. Thank you. Patsy Chriswell
The only thing I didn't like is I had to put the peddles on, but it was really simple, took about 10 minutes or less. I do love it; I use it while working and when I'm just sitting watching TV.
Purchased for my 87 year old mother who is rehabbing from a fall. She was using this in PT so figured she should continue on her own at home. Very simple to use. Not sure how the arm bands work...they are supplied but not mentioned in the manual? All good though, the machine is great!
Easy to use and stores most anywhere.. remote control is handy.. paid a decent amount for it. Bout for my mother.. has trouble walking. Has used it some. Also an amputee on one leg. Pedals aren't suitable for her condition. Could be better though. Her,Titanium foot doesn't bend to be flexible enough for use.
I purchased this for my 88 year old mother who doesn't walk around much any more. I think it was a good purchase! Pros: 1. Easy to move around with a handle that extends like on a suitcase. 2. You can use in HR mode (automatically rotates pedals) which has several speeds, or you can use in HF mode, which lets you pedal with no help. You can choose how much resistance you want. It starts in HR auto -- to switch to HF, press and hold the start button for 3 seconds, then press M (for mode). 3. If you choose auto mode, you can put it on the slow speed 1 but still pedal as fast as you want to use more of your own muscle power. It will still count your steps. 4. It shows you what mode you are in, what speed (if any) you have it on, and how many steps you are taking. 5. It lets you reverse, but only in HR auto mode. 6. It has foot straps. Cons: 1. On the display, it constantly switches between time elapsed and steps taken, which can be confusing to older users. 2. There is no off/on switch. You can pause, but to turn it off you must unplug it either from the unit or from the wall. All functions can be controlled by using the remote or by the panel on top of the exerciser. There is an app for this, but we don't use it so I know nothing about how it works. Watch a video about using this machine. I learned a couple new things just today. Watch a Yosuda video if you don't see one for Upgo -- they're the same company and machine.
got it for my husband who has been ill for the last 2 years. He is now on oxygen and doing better but cannot walk as far as he used to do. From day one he is using it several times a day and is not only helping him gain strength but improving his mental and emotional status as well
It came with no instructions, you can't operate it without instructions, and it supposed to have a non slip mat to place underneath it, but these things were not included. I sit here and look at a heavy useless machine.
this was not the item I ordered, the box was so re-taped, it took forever to get to product TO FIND OUT IT WAS CRACKED..and they taped up carefully to hide it was used. pedals dirty, NO INSTRUCTIONS. On top of everything else, i have to physically take rhis back for return... if i had the time to do that, i would just stop work each day and use my treadmill and cardioglider...i thought this would provide some movement, but i don't pay for broken down and dirty ... NOT THE SAME NAME OR MODEL %23 i am so angry, as you can read by this review... RETURNING...I WENT BY REVIEWS, but happy everyone else was satisfied... see pics, UNBELIEVABLE WALMART YOU HAVE TO DO BETTER WITH YOUR "PRO-SELLERS".
This was delayed with no date for when it would come. I cancelled the order and ordered one from Amazon which was delivered the next day. The day after that the Walmart order that I cancelled was delivered. I will be returning it to the store. If I had been given the expected delivery date, I would have waited however my order wasn't updated with that information.
