OMG! DELICIOUS!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried several artisan hams before, but this Iberico ham is on another level. The flavor is incredibly rich and complex - you can really taste the quality difference from what the pigs were fed. The marbling is beautiful and it has that melt-in-your-mouth texture that you expect from authentic Spanish ham. I served it at a small dinner party we had, and everyone was asking where I got it. It's thinly sliced and perfectly packaged, which makes it easy to use for charcuterie boards or just as a quick protein snack. My 14-year-old, who's usually picky about meats, actually enjoyed it too. Yes, it's more expensive than regular deli ham, but for special occasions or when you want to treat yourself to something genuinely premium, it's absolutely worth it. The quality of ingredients really shines through. I'll definitely be buying this again for our next family gathering or when we have guests over.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was very good ham, it had great flavor. It's a natural product and that's important to me. I felt it was great quality and can be used in many ways. Yes, it is pricey, this product usually is. I was happy to see this is available at a retailer that's easy to shop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a huge fan now of this company and there products I got the ham but also the mortadella and the quality was ten outta ten I can't wait to try all the products they carry I will definitely purchase more now
i didn't like that the pack was unable to open easily and seal closed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ham is pretty good for it being Iberico ham found in a regular grocery store. It is a little on the pricier side, considering the amount it has on the tray, so not really charcuterie board friendly, unless the board is super small. I would rather go to a specialty store to get the good ham if I'm paying a higher price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this pam would be as flexible when prying it apart like how prosciutto is?But I feel that prosciutto is much easier to take the pieces apart without it falling apart. The way this ham was cut.The slices seemed a slightly bit thicker. However, trying to take the slices apart.Nicely was a bit of a challenge. The flavor was great, and I also felt the meat was a little bit harder to chew.I liked it but I gave it a four.I recommend if those are trying out different hams for appetizers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was not as strongly salty as some similar type ham/prosciuttos I've had in the past. The flavor was a bit different from those other brands. While I didn't mind the flavor, there was a hint of a smell that I couldn't place at first but upon further thought, reminded me of canned dog food smell. Also, It was a bit hard to separate the slices out of the package as it didn't have parchment paper-like dividers seen in similar brands. I would also appreciate a resealable film package like some brands use as I wouldn't plan to eat the whole package in one sitting..
I will give this only two stars because the taste was there, but it was a very hard and stiff. I don't understand the dark color. When I was in Spain, I Barnham was not dark color like that. It was a very light color.
