At first, my kitty just looked at it as if to say not yet another toy and walked away And then to our surprise, our plump lazy attention seeking kitty was having fun eyes wide and tail shaking It's like having a babysitter keeping her occupied so I can get some work done hooray Well-made comes with a spool of thread in case kitty breaks it Our kitty is not thin so she does sit on it and chew on the string, but it does not pull the pulley out so it's nice and sturdy It will run for 15 minutes and then turn off for two hours so kitty won't get overstimulated which is good because I don't want a vet bill. I just want a happy cat. So if my kitty can't break up, that's a big plus I would definitely buy another one so worth the price and a good product
It has a strong motor and my cats love it. It would be even better if it didn't make a whistling sound when going one direction. My kitties are playing with it constantly which is great. I'll have to see if I can tolerate the whistling sound not to be confused with the mouse chirps which can be turned off.
