This is a great glaze! It is thick but easy to spread, and it levels out pretty well by itself too. Super shiny and dries to a rock hard finish. I haven't used it for anything that gets roughed up enough to comment on durability, but it appears to add a layer of stength to my clay creations so we will see

Got it for my teen to use on her air dry clay. After painting and waiting for the paint to dry, she applies a coat of the varnish. It makes the clay sculpture glossy with a professional looking finish.

Gloss is decent size and came packaged very securely. It is a bit expensive for the mid quality but compared to other gloss options it's fair.

I bought this brand becauaw of the giod reputation of U S Art Supply. I specifically wanted it to finish off my Sculpey clay pieces I was making into wall hangings and jewelry, among other things. I ran into trouble with a some pieces, but it seems the clay was too wet. Using it now on other pieces, I'm getting a beautiful, shiny finish. I find it difficult to apply as my brush gets dry quickly, but I change it often. It's worth it to get the finish once it dries. I do recommend this product. The C. S. department is very helpful with questions as well.
