This desk easel is very well made. It has a few rough spots and edges and could benefit form a little sanding but nothing major to worry about. It is very sturdy and functions well. Make sure it is on a level surface and one should have no issues. The latches and hinges aren't real strong but they work well. IF you plan on doing anything that puts strain on it like hard erasing, I suggest not doing it on the easel part. IT will help in allowing the product to last much longer. If taken care of, it should last a long time. Good wood.

I have a 6 year old grandson that loves to color and draw so I purchased this for him for Christmas. He will love it and will get plenty of use out of it.

I was looking for a tabletop easel and this is better than I had hoped for!! It's the perfect size for any size canvas, even slightly larger ones. it came assembled and it's lightweight. The drawer is awesome and large enough to hold all kinds of brushes. It even came with a small paint palette!!! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is, I bought two easels and in one of them, the drawer sticks. I shaved it down and it's okay but still .. I highly recommend this , you will love it!!!

I ordered this for my granddaughter who loved it. It was nice wood and the only issue I saw was that one side was farther apart then the other side. I'm concerned that it might pull apart but hoping not. She loves to draw and instead of holding her drawing pad on her knee, she can now have an easel to perch it on. It also has good storage in the drawer.
