Excellent umbrella base!
Perfect! What a bargain for a high quality addition to my porch set up. The base is very sturdy and heavy as claimed. The bronze color meshes perfectly with my umbrella hue and the deck boards. The screw mechanism works fine and so far it's done a great job supporting the umbrella - no wobbles or instability at all. The umbrella is also supported by a small table with a hole, but the base is exactly what we wanted and has a small enough footprint that your feet don't feel crowded undertable. Excellent umbrella base!

Good umbrella base for FL near the saltwater
Living in FL near the ocean, I have gone through several umbrella weights/ stands because of metal rot/failure. The fact that this is plastic makes that a moot point. I like that it has a “handle” to carry or move it. 50 lbs is heavy!

Use mine with 9ft Umbrella
Ordered 2, one came perfect, the other was damaged during shipping. Quickly sent it back and replacement is being sent. Pleasant

Great for coastal areas
I live near the ocean, so corrosion is always a problem. This umbrella weight should last longer than one that has a metal stand pipe in the base.

Just what I was looking for...
I love this base and it was literally half the price of the exact same base on Amazon. Walmart also got it to me 4 days faster as well. It is working great even in my yard at the windy mouth of a canyon.

Plastic umbrella stand
Smaller than the other round stand. It is made of plastic which you can just fill it with water or sand. It is easy to carry if you are using it at the beach. There is also one that has 50 lbs weight in it and that was the original order I placed for some reason I received an empty one and then a week later attempted to deliver the one I originally ordered but refuse it/ cancelled. Overall I'm satisfied with the product and how Walmart handled the case.

Disappointed
The only way to adjust the diameter of the hole is one screw that is BARELY attached. Even though it is a heavy base, it will not prevent tip-over because there is not enough stability. It was also poorly packaged and arrived damaged. I plan to return this item.
