Seriously enjoyed this game! My fiancé has a guys game night once a month and this game was perfect for them being that they love video games! The game was very similar to another game, Exploding Kittens. It is a great game for a group of at least 3 or more.
This is the kind of game that works perfect when you have 1/2 a group who wants to watch football and 1/2 a group who couldnt care less. My friends and a few of their friends played with me and we had a blast. It now resides in my classroom for my classes to play when they have a free day. Itâs become very popular!
What a fun and competitive card game! We had a blast playing with friends and family one afternoon. Both adults and children (recommended 8+ and above) were having a blast stealing cards, and using "?" cards to disable the others. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Mario Bro. and Family Fun time!
This game is a little tougher to grasp than the old school video game, but our group of boys still loved it. It's best to watch a YouTube video of to get the hang of it (which seems silly), but we are a huge board game/card game family, so we had no problem with that.
It was great to find a game that appealed to the entire family! Everyone of us love the Mario Bros.!! We did have to explain to the kids why Mario looked different then he does on their Switch, LOL. It took us a minute to get a handle on the rules and gameplay, but when we did it got REALLY FUN (and competitive).
I think the game is a lot of fun and is a great addition to any game night. I played it with a group of people ranging in ages from 15 to 54 and every single person enjoyed playing. It took a few mins to learn to play of course but once we got going it was easy and fun as could be!
This game was great for both kids and adults of all ages. We were selected to try this game for free in exchange for our honest review and posting on social media. We played the game with my son who is 8 and my grandpa who is now 89 years old and it was great for both of them. I was super excited for this game because my son loves video games and it is difficult to convince him to play something else with the family but with the Mario theme he was excited to play this game together. I was also thrilled that it was pretty simple to learn the directions, it can be difficult for my grandpa to learn new games these days but this one was great for him. The game was very fast and simple and I liked that it was easy to make the game shorter from the beginning if necessary.
We received this game to test out. It was a lot of fun and we had people of all ages play the game with us. It is a gane the whole family can play together, but we were all a little confused in regards to the directions and the block cards. We improvised ans plated how we felt best worked. I think if the instructions were written a bit better, we would have had an even better game experiance
Super Mario Bros power up card game is a lot of fun to play with family and friends. Me and my family had a great time playing it, but there are some issues with the directions itself. They are not 100% clear, and they can be a little confusing. Also, when you are playing, and you can only go left when it's your turn, it leads to a loop, so if your card is really a bad card, you will eventually get the card back in the end. Other than those issues, it's fun. The younger kids enjoyed it as well, and it would definitely be an awesome game to play for a family game night.
Instructions are not clear which makes learning the game a little too complicated. Players also watched the video on YouTube which was hard to follow and increased our frustration. We also tried learning the game by reading each instruction aloud and following it step by step. This too was difficult because it was hard to follow the directions while trying to grasp the concept of the game, how to play the cards and what each card represented. Very frustrating in the beginning but once we got the hang of it playing was fun. Make sure you have plenty of time to read the instructions in order to understand them clearly.
