It came quicker than promised, which I greatly appreciate. Small and simple to set up. It is really good in a close up. I can see that I need to have some work done on my face! Not sure if that's a pro or a con. It doesn't allow you to zoom out, so you are stuck with the "close up". I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable web camera.
Super easy to use. I was up and video streaming in under two minutes. There was no setup involved, connect the USB and it communicates with the computer and for me, nothing else was required. Good quality video, looks way better than many of the built-in cameras. Easy to attach the camera, mounting bracket is quite versatile, but not especially study, somewhat easy to bump it off-kilter (my only complaint).
For an inexpensive, no-frills webcam, this seems to be perfect. Easy to install - our old computer did it automatically in about 1 minute and it was ready to go. This is good since there are no instructions. Unless you are looking for a studio quality camera, this seems to have a very clear picture and audio. We did a sample video chat with our son and he said it worked great. I like the feature where you can blur the background. When our church has staff meetings, I don't have to worry about tidying up the room behind me. If you want everything in focus, it only takes a few seconds to switch. The microphone is very sensitive. When I played piano on a group choir meeting, I was told the piano was a little distorted. The mic was set on "Auto Level". I went in later and tried several "Test Calls" to Skype and ended up lowering the mic volume to "3" out of 10 before the distortion went away. It was still sensitive enough to clearly pick me up talking 3 feet away. My only suggestion would be a cover for when it's not being used. I taped a small piece of paper that hangs down over the lens, and I can flip it back when I want to use the camera. Overall - great choice for inexpensive video chatting.
This webcam with microphone had all the features I needed for taking part in online webinars. I am very happy with it, the images are very clear and the microphone also is very clear to hear other participants. There really was no real setup issues with it when I first used it.
My only complaint was the long wait, which was nearly a month. For basic Zoom for your family and doctor visits, this is a good camera. Which is why I ordered it. My father is 76 years old, and we must do video based doctor visits. I am hoping it works for a long time. I know there are a few reviews about the camera dying. Fingers crossed. I really don't want to go through the wait again.
the instructions are not in English, guessing Chinese maybe Japanese unsure. That issue aside, ones you get it to focus the camera works. Just took a while to focus, thought it was broken and then the image came in clear enough. Its a simple inexpensive tool to communicate with during online classes for my child. Also, delivery took just under 3 weeks with standard shipping.
I don't think this was worth what I paid for but it's better than nothing since I needed it for Zoom calls with my friends. It's very light in weight and the base of the camera feels flimsy, like, it might come off if I'm too rough with it. If you want a sharper video, you'll def would want to get one with higher megapixels. User Manual is in a different language but easy-to-use.
My grandson says the camera works great, but it took over three weeks to arrive, I didn't notice the arrival date til after I hit enter. I immediately tried to cancel it but apparently it never took and the webcam finally arrived. Will think twice before I order again from Tinsda Inc.
All the instructions and info on how to use this item were written in Chinese except the brand name. There was no on-line information or web site for the camera making it impossible to try the camera prior to an actual session. Thank heavens for youngsters that were able to start a session to start it up. The camera worked after they explained it to me.
The product arrived in good shape in a box with one small sheet of paper (installation and/or use instructions?) The paper was entirely in Chinese. However, it was simple to install by simply plugging it into a USB port, and functioned as expected. The picture is somewhat grainy--not sharp at all, but for $18, adequate. I'm happy with the purchase. Customer service when I tried to contact them about the installation and usage instructions was non-existent without a three-four hour wait.
