This worked perfectly for me. I'm using it for data only. I verified that I can flip the USB-C connection over and it works both ways, just to be sure. My application is that I wanted to run USB cables through my wall from my media computer to my TV. I'm using older USB-A devices, but I wanted to run USB-C through the wall for future compatibility. So I'm using a similar USB-C to A plug (same brand) with this A-to-C adapter. This double-conversion (plus three cables and two keystone jacks) is as rough a test for data compatibility, and all the components worked perfectly.

The bummer about Apple is always having to buy new attachments. In order to not have to replace my multi-port charger I bought these converters to use with my new iPad Pro which has a USB C port. They work just great. Buying these saved me not only from having to buy a new charger but also from having to buy a new cord.

I needed an adapter to use an old Logitech wireless keyboard adapter on a new laptop that didn't have the old USB-A port, so I figured I'd get something compact like this and it works perfectly for that. My only hesitation in buying these was that they came in a 2-pack - did I really need two? Was that just a waste of money and stuff? But yes, after getting the two pack I realized that there are a ton of things that I use that have USB-A connectors. These are small enough and cheap enough that I can just leave them attached to dongles, drives, etc and barely notice them. I might even pick up a couple more! Material quality is great and they seem to be perfectly compatible.

I bought these because I recently got a Macbook Air (2020 model) that has only TB3/USB-C ports. While I normally have a dock that lets me use USB-A accessories, I still wanted something I could use as a backup in case I'm traveling or otherwise don't have the dock handy. These were an attractive price and didn't have terrible reviews, so I took a chance and bought them. So far, they've worked on every device I've tried them with (flash drives, keyboard/mouse receiver, and similar). I have had no problems with them fitting into my ports, devices getting stuck, or other issues that I was worried about from some reviews on this or similar products. Do note, however, that if you have Mac, your ports may be too close to use both on the same side at the same time, but I have only ever needed one at a time, so this is not a problem for me.

I was actually impressed with the quality of these USB-C adapters. They work really well and look good. Note: you cant put both of them side by side (don't fit) on a Mac Book Pro. You can still put one on the opposite side though!
