So similar to my J3 it was a really easy adjustment. I wasn't sure if I would like the larger size but it was also a very quick adjustment and now my old phone is so much more difficult to use.
Overall a great phone. The only real complaint I have is that the size is a little bigger than I was looking for. Screen is great, but it definitely requires 2 hands to operate (or at least for a smaller woman it does). That being said, the phone still fits in a jeans pocket without trouble. Beautiful screen with rich colors! Takes great photos and I haven't even played with all the camera features yet. Speed is good. 5G comes and goes for Broken Arrow area (probably a function of where the towers are for the network). Runs much better than my Galaxy S7 which I used and loved for 4+ years. Did I mention battery life... AMAZING!! Mind you I had gotten accustomed to having to charge my S7 mid-day as it no longer would make it through the work day. This phone however, not only makes it through the day, but I still have power left to begin the next day. The only thing I don't routinely do with my phone is play a lot of games, but I do stream music, video, movies, run several productivity apps, read books, and obviously text/phone, email for 8 accounts, etc. A fantastic phone and definitely an upgrade from my Galaxy S7. Love this phone!!
Great phone for the money. The display is great and it takes great pictures. The front facing camera takes sharp clear pictures. It's a fairly large phone compared to my S10, and some may see that as a downside, but I enjoy the larger screen.
Started out with a bag phone many years ago and then went with the one hand model and on to a flip for years. Decided it was time to get modern and went with the A52 5G. Love everything about it.
Good phone for the price. Plastic case is flexible allowing the SD card to have intermittent contact. Keep getting a message the SD card was improperly removed, restart phone. US Cellular network signal strength very bad, not able to get strong enough 5G service in Merrimack NH.
This Galaxy A52 replaced a 5 year old Kyocera Duraforce. I'm very happy with the storage, camera, and speed. What I'm not happy with is that now I have 3 dead spots on my way home where calls will drop every time. I used to be able to talk the whole way. You'd think that a new 5G phone would have better service than a 5 year old 4G phone. Also, the volume could be a bit higher on calls, especially on speakerphone.
There are a lot of things I like about this phone, but I don't like having to press 2 buttons to turn it off and the wake up button is so close to the volume buttons that it is easily turned down.
Phone is better than my last one I had, still not great, I still have too many calls I don't get and too many dropped calls.... US Cellular network still SUCKS.....
won't work w my network
I turned in a Samsung 5 phone - ancient but simple to understand and use. Got this phone and I have NO IDEA how to use it...spent 2 hours with someone trying to figure it out but no luck. Asked to be shown how to use it - no luck. I HATE HATE HATE this phone, mostly because I don't know how to make it do what I want, don't do what I don't want, and how to change it on my own so make it easier to use. There is NOTHING I like about this phone...I have tried to go online for help but mostly stuff I don't understand there either. I need to have someone SHOW ME how to use the phone, how to set it up, how to find accessible information for an older adult who is tech illiterate. Is there anyone out there who can do that for me?????
