UScellular Hot Pepper Chilaca Plus 4G, Black - Prepaid Smartphone

If you want a cheap prepaid smartphone this is great. Only thing is rhat I personally wasnt planning on connecting it, just use it with wifi but these phones are connected with US cellular and if you dont activate it with a plan within two days it blocks the phone until you do. I have gotten other prepaid smartphones before and this does not happen with those. So if you are planning on connecting the phone then this phone is great especially for just $25, but if your like me and are planning on using it on wifi only with no plan then this is not the phone for you.

I only gave four stars because we havent had them long enough to get a complete opinion of them. So far they seem durable. They were birthday presents for the kids They run them off wifi. Setup was pretty easy.

dont buy this at Wal-Mart there independent contractors that do the sales bad attitudes un helpful morons i could have got better deal going to us cell direct they sole 25 dollars of course no help from wallmart or contractor. go else where for less headaches and w9bt get ripped off

from the moment I opened the box and powered this phone on it has been saying storage full. I erased the games that were preinstalled yet they would reappear 3 at a time just as soon as I opened and closed another page. Biggest issue is I spent better part of my day trying to catch a signal just watching it spin! contacted customer service of us cellular and of course they said id have to take it in to a store amd see what a rep could do to make it function more efficiently as well as i formed me that it was suppose to be a 64 gig phone capacity yet my screen was reading my phones storage was 18 out of 32 gig!???!... come on! my time.. my gas.. my missed apts. ..my headache ....!! This was by far the absolute putchase of a phone let alone it did not work well enough to even mess with Literally

did not tell you. that service must be purchased in order to even be able to use phone for apps. didn want to use it for calking. it was fir my grandson to play games on and i have to also purchase 25 activation in order for to even be able to use it

the phone's did not work after 2 days of buying them called the number and the guy told me they should have not been sold for people living in the US could not activate them so I bought them for my grandsons and had to go out and buy them 2 different phones for it was a Christmas present

I bought this phones for my kids an they played on them once they couldnt get back on them.. wast of money unless u want to pay an activation fee if u just want to use it on WIFI dont bother

I was told that it was able to run off wi-fi only because I was getting it only for my autistic son because he does better with phones two days later it shuts off and he has no way to communicate with me then I go to return it and they say that it can be returned but for some reason their computer system is not allowing me to and that I have to call Walmart 1-800 which I sent his disabled doesn't allow me the time to be able to do that so waste of money and Trauma to my son thank you

If only I could give it a zero. Didn't even have it for 24hr, before it locked. That's crazy. You can't even connect it to Wi-Fi or anything. Must have time for it, the second you turn it on. It claims 48 he's, but I got locked out in less than 24, while trying to set it up..

This abusively stupid phone wont let me access the normal UI with chrome and the play store without having a paid plan... its a prepaid, I shouldnt have to, Im going to try to return it
