This was an upgrade from the Moto G that only had 32GB. The Camera on the moto g also picked up the shadows of the image so it always took some editing to get the images to look right. The Moto G 5G 128gb is definitely an upgrade and it was a steal for the cost.
Purchased this phone for my husband. It was easy to get the number transferred from his old phone to this one and easy to get set up. During the set up process it let him transfer all his old apps to his new phone which was an added bonus.
My little brother loves it really nice phone for really good price
I ordered it for my grandma.
I like the phone but had a problem activating it. US Cellular didn't want to activate any phone that is not sold by them so beware Call and verify that they will activate for you before buying.
Great phone but they fail to explain that there is a difference between Walmart US Cellular and the Corporate US Cellular. If you bought your original phone from Walmart this will be fine but if you went through corporate US Cellular than you are going to have problems swapping phones. Not to mention I could have gotten this phone for half the price if I had just went to a US Cellular store. plus i could have gotten a green one. Ended up with a locked phone and a bunch of running back and forth to us cellular. Had to go to the store just to call customer service because our phones were locked. Spent almost an hour getting it fixed.Lost a week of service and had to pay for the next month to reset the billing date. It was nothing but a hassle, but we finally got it fixed.
I got the first phone it's black listed and can't be activated on us cellular they refunded me I tried again the second phone is also blacklisted. This phone is being sold and shipped all from Walmart no third party seller I'm not sure if they aren't scanning them or what but I don't trust buying any phone online from them at this time. I'll have to go into the store and physically but one.
VIPOutlet did not scan the barcodes before sending. The phone is.worthless. The carrier cannot activate the phone without the barcodes being scanned, Walmart couldn't help since it was a third party seller, the third party has a copy paste answer for everything. They couldn't do anything except have me return it and refund me. I checked online reviews of their company does this a lot.
Was very disappointed with this whole experience. Ordered this online once I received the phone transfered sll my stuff to it looked like it'd be easy peasy... But then found out I could not set this up for data service with us cellular due to the fact the phone was blacklisted. This was a third party seller and when I reached out was told to return the phone for a refund. What a hassle . Now I am still awaiting the refund as it has to go back to them be processed etc. Oh and it had to be returned to a walmart store which i live 20 miles away from. When I returned to the store they could not refund the protection plan I ordered so had to contact the Walmart website for that...which was smooth and I've already gotten that refund...Still no refund on the phone....its been several days now.
don't order from third party merchants from Walmart especially phones cause if they mess up, like not unlocking the phone, you'll have to return it and there's no way to know unless you try to activate it. really crappy service. they should have made it right somehow.
