I am a Samsung person. I love Samsung products. Started out with Nokia when I got my first phone but went to Samsung for my next phone and I have been a Samsung person ever since. The quality of the product is far more better than anything else. I have been staying with Galaxy Series. I just got the S8 edge+ a couple of days ago. I am in love with Samsung all over again. Thanks for make such "Great" products!!
I have had the S8+ for a few months now and so far I love it. It is packed with features and has the performance to do said features without any lag at all. The new camera is awesome for low light compared to all other brands that I have messed with. The screen is brighter than average also. The screen does wrap around both edges and it makes me a little uneasy on if it is going to break but so far so good. I haven't had any hard drops but I do keep it in a case so I'm hoping that is enough. Also has awesome battery life compared to previous versions of Samsung Galaxy flagship line of phones. Don't get me wrong it is not the kind of battery life that you can have the screen on all day playing games ( the technology just doesn't exist yet) but it certainly will last you the day and has 2 amazing power saving modes just in case you do run down your battery so you can make it to a charger and still be able to use your phone.
I love my phone, the display is simply gorgeous! Great call quality and the phone is feature rich. Make sure you get a case, and go to Help in Settings for the User Manual. You have to read this to get the most from your phone. I had a Note 4 for 3yrs, so this was a good compromise, between the Note8 & S8.. Go to YouTube and look at as many different long term reviews as possible on this phone. Go to your carrier and hold one. Samsung has set the bar high with the S8+ ! Seeing is believing!
Have had this phone a little over a year and am nothing but happy with it. Even after multiple drops without a case on it the screen is undamaged. Would recommend.
I've had this phone 3 months. It really is the best phone I've ever owned. The ease of use is remarkable. It's expensive but I do not regret getting it at all. Does everything I need and more
I am amazed by this phone. I dropped it oin my driveway before clearing snow. I realized halfway through cleaning the snow, I no longer had my phone on me. I see it 8 ft away sticking up in the snow. I picked it up, the screen was cracked, the back mangled, yet the phone still was on after my snow blower threw it 8 ft through the air. The phone us completely operable. So if you want a durable phone with great features. This is it!
it wasn't Verizon ready had to buy extra SIM card.
I really really wanted to like this phone. I was going from the S7 Edge to S8 plus and I expected great things. Unfortunately my expectations were met with reality. The phone went through a series of resets within the 48hrs or so of use (prior to my return) so I did not get a great user experience. I also got frustrated that several of my apps had compatibility issues with the disappearing buttons at the bottom of the device. Several times I had to turn the phone off and then log back on in order to reset the app I was using because the navigation buttons would not turn on. I am not sure if I was hit with a flawed unit or if this is just growing pains but either way I was not impressed a bit with this phone. The screen size was the best feature and yet that was not even a grand presentation.
Phone has problems. Volume button has fallen out since day one held in with case. Now phone has no mobile network for no reason and can not use to make or receive calls. Phone was a Christmas gift.
Phone was used so I returned it.
