The color is absolutely lovely - this is why we chose this one. A bright, hearty, cheery red. The styling is delightfully charming as well - the lid has a cute round button of a handle and the kettle body has a pretty rainbow shaped handle. Functionally, I like the wide flat metal bottom that provides quick even distribution of heat. Durability-wise, we have been using it a lot for the last 3 weeks and no issues so far. The handle folds to the side to make it easier for you to fill it, but make sure it's not folded over while heating or it'll be quite hot when you go to pick it up. The number one reason we went for this particular style of kettle is it is entirely metal - no nonstick interior or anything. You only heat water in a kettle anyway, so why do you need some kind of mysterious nonstick coating that will turn an odd shade of white after a year's use, and which we will probably discover is carcinogenic in 30 years? The body of this thing is just plain metal inside, including the lid. Actually the only downside is that the metal lid sticks very firmly inside the metal pot, so you need a bit of tugging and wrestling to get it off to fill it and then force it back on again. Unfortunately, the cute button lid handle doesn't provide the best grip. I have weak hands, so most users probably wouldn't even notice a difficulty. Even if you do have weak hands, it's not so difficult as to be a deal-breaker. The whistle is similar to other kettles we have had - it's VERY loud when it's ready, but quickly quiets down to a quiet or silent hum if you turn it down to low heat. The instructions specify to use no higher than medium heat.
It's bright, matches my counters, only wish there was a button to lift the lid on the spot from the handled. Lighter than my last kettle, easy to pour.
We've been using ours for a while now. It's a really cute, functional teapot. It does what it's supposed to: boil water and whistle. It's loud enough to hear from the other room. I love the design of it, especially the movable handle.
Nice tea kettle for a reasonable price, well packaged, fast delivery. Good handle design. I also like the whistle. I can hear it through the whole house.
I like that it is not enamel inside hoping it doesn't discolor or rust. Nice small size so it doesn't take a long time to boil. Handle is plastic so important to keep it up-right. Nice looking and practical.
This tea kettle is lovely and is a good price for the quality. I don't use it on a daily basis, so it should suit my needs. It's of average quality and the whistle isn't very loud. I wish it could boil more water (the instructions say to fill it to less than 60%), but it's perfect if you're only making a cup or two.
The whistle works well, the last kettle I ordered didn't whistle though it was meant to. This kettle is not white it is beige FYI. They call it elegant white, but it is not true white.
after one use, the pot got burn marks and the paint started just falling off. it was literally used like you would use any tea pot and didn't survive one use
The tea kettle looks like a nice red tea kettle. But it is not made of high quality metal. It is very light and flimsy. The lid did not fit well and the spout did not open and close correctly. Not worth the price. I returned the item.
DON'T BUY THIS KETTLE!!! This is a piece of junk. I have used it about a dozen times, and the little thingy on the handle that you toggle to open the spout and pour the water is broken. Also, the handle is loose. Very disappointed,
