NEW out the box great picture makes my Xbox series X games look and play amazing. this was a great deal for a 6 Series TCL WHY BUY 4 series or other lower models TCL tv's for a higher price. I needed to ugrade my TCL 6 series 65R615 to the TCL 6 SERIES 65R635 b for less than $300.00 Grab it while you can.
This TV IS thicker and heavier than the 5 yr old Sanyo lcd TV it replaced, but the quality of the picture is so much better. The fact that the brightness has more available settings helps immensely when the room is very bright in late afternoon. Sound quality is decent and with 4 HDMI ports and a head phone connection port it has all we need to be happy. Although this was sold as clearance and used it looks like it was never out of its box. All protective labels and trim covers were in place, not reattached. At practically 50%off we are very happy with our purchase. Any negative reviews about cracked screens need to be ignored as that is a shipping issue and has nothing to do with the quality of the TV.
I was fortunate that it arrived in perfect condition! Brilliant picture comparable to med tier Samsungs, LGs, and Sonys. Amazing deal at 399, 120hz mini qled even in 2025 goes for at least $800. Getting a 5 year warranty in case. Love it!
Tv was not working right but I returned
It looks amazing at this point this tv is basically just like an oled it has super inky deep blacks and snow white whites basically no blooming it even looks bigger than my other 65 inch tv it arrived very well packed nothing broken the only thing is the HDMI eARC port delays for about 3 seconds after I click on a movie or pause or fast forward but if I do a power cycle the issue goes away until I turn off the tv then it happens again it doesn't mess up the experience or anything its more of that its just a little annoying I could just use the normal tv speakers but its not the same and Id rather just have a 3 sec delay at the start and forget abought it I'm not gonna return it because its not a major issue just something to be aware of if you want to use a soundbar or a amplifier
I went with the Mini-LED QLED instead of the 4K UHD because the “used” one was slightly more than the new 4K UHD and I wanted to try it out. The Mini-LED QLED is twice as heavy and twice as thick as the 4K UHD. The picture quality isn't as different as I expected. Actually, I think the 4K UHD is better in most stand tv settings. There is a lot of light bleeding into the black portions of the screen which takes away from the great colors of the screen. If I were to buy a new tv today, I would probably just stick with the 4K UHD. It's cheaper and unless you have them side by side, you'll never really see the difference. I actually have them in the same room and can see the difference. Mini-LED QLED does have a little more vibrant color but that's really about it. Clarity is very similar. The thickness of the tv is noticeable as well, but it does have a higher quality feel to it. That said, this is 2025, I would prefer thin and light which the 4K UHD is. I would have returned and swapped had I paid full price, but for the price I paid for a “used” that came in looking brand new, I'll just keep it and see how long it last compared to the 4K UHD. One of my previous TCL TVs lasted a little over 7 years. We have 6 TVs total in the house (5 TCL and 1 LG). Obviously TCL our brand of choice. I originally purchased a more expensive LG for my living room but it ended up being the garage tv. We have also had both of our parents get TCLs as well and everyone loves them. The 85” looks great in my living-room. Would love to get my hands on that 98” though. For the price, it's a great option for a mini cinema in your house. I paired it up with a JBL surround bar and subwoofer and I couldn't be happier.
I had to hit the reset button to make it work
the TV is probably excellent. However, like many of the reviews, it arrived with a broken screen. no new/used TV 4me for superbowl. i still like TCL very much. but my used experiment is over. would have like to have seen the mini led qled, but not to be. i sure I'll be happy with whatever 65inch i get. sry Walmart, might have to go with amazon. Their free delivery includes set up and testing.
the roku tv that i purchased did not work abd the tv screen looked loke it was cracked.. the shipping box that it was shipped in was open and appeared to be damaged. i am very disappointed and was loolking forward to watching PENN STATE WRESTLING Team take the Big 10 championship. WE ARE!!!!
the tv arrived in a broken box with the bottom split open. the FedEx driver left the box on the edge of the porch and tried to hide the damage with a tricky picture. the tv was cracked on the top and it didn't work at all.
