USimplySeason Tangy Zaatar - Natural, Vegan, Zesty Mix, 2.4oz

I recently found out that I cannot consume garlic for my special diet and I was looking for a Kosher product that would be a great substitute and this was exactly what I needed. I make a Yukon gold oven roasted potatoes that normally has lots of garlic in it. I made it for my husbands ‘s steak bowl this Father's Day, and did not notice there wasn't any garlic. A matter of fact it took my potatoes up to another whole notch. This is a delicious seasoning. Highly recommended!

I am not one to use too many seasonings but this is a good one. It is a combination of roasted sesame seeds, thyme, sumac, oregano, marjoram, and sea salt. The aroma that fills my kitchen with this seasoning is so familiar. It reminds me of one of my favorite dishes. I am glad to have added this seasoning to my collection. It is an interesting combination of flavors. The smell is so good. Can't wait to make menudo and add this to it. I recommend this product to all my fellow cooks.

The Tangy Za'atar spice seasoning blend that I received is very tasty and unique. This is the first time that I have cooked with za'tar seasoning. It is a very fragrant spice blend and can be used in a variety of dishes including fish, chicken, pasta, or veggies. I think I will try to put it on avocado toast next!

I am a new fan of the Za'atar Tangy Asian Spice blend! It adds so much flavor to your dishes. All natural and organic, this blend of roasted sesame seeds, thyme, oregano, sumac, marjoram, and sea salt is the perfect choice for seasoning your dishes. It's not too spicy, so I can use these ingredients all the time in different meals. These spices are ones I use all the time, so having them all together in one bottle makes it so convenient when cooking. The bottle allows you to take spoonfuls out or the other side to just sprinkle on your food. I have been using this almost nightly on my meals. Its great in my soups I make for the children. I mix it with some olive oil and top it over my salads! Delicious! It's great on pasta, on my veggies, and noodles. It has brought the taste of my chow mein to another level. I was a little hesitant to use this, because I dont like to experiment with my foods, but my husband put it on pork chops for dinner, and they turned out awesome. It definitely has a bit of a citrus/tangy flavor, but it's good. It smells kind of strong, but it doesn't taste the way it smells. I probably wouldn't buy this, unless I really liked trying new things, but I'm glad I got a free sample, because now I know it's pretty good

USimplySeason Tangy Zaatar Spice Mediterranean Seasoning comes in 2.4 oz plastic jar. The lid allows you to dispense the seasoning either by shaking it through holes or by inserting a spoon into the jar. The seasoning is a blend of roasted sesame seeds, thyme, sumac, oregano, marjoram and a dash of sea salt. You can use it on variety of foods including meats, poultry and fish but my favorite by far is mixing it with some olive oil and using it as a dip for freshly baked bread. I also love it on a pizza crust. The spices blend wonderfully together to create very aromatic condiment and can enhance pretty much every dish. Just a pinch adds ton of flavor so play with different quantities in your dishes and adjust based on your taste preference. I will definitely be buying larger container.

I used this seasoning on chicken thighs. I heavily seasoned the chicken with it and I thought it tasted delicious. I like that these seasonings don't contain additional unnecessary fillers and preservatives – just a straight and simple herbal blend. The ingredients are roasted sesame seeds, thyme, sumac, oregano, marjoram, and sea salt. It has two openings on the top of the container; one for scooping out the seasoning with a measuring spoon and the other for sprinkling/shaking. I think this seasoning blend could be used on foods other than meat. I'd like to try it on some roasted potatoes, broccoli rice sautéed with some onions, and maybe with some salted butter to spread on fresh homemade bread right out the oven. The name says Tangy. It's not that tangy, in my opinion.

We use a lot of seasonings and this combination seemed interesting to me. Once we opened it, it didn't smell "strongly" of seasoning (we use lots of basil, oregano and similar), but not lots of thyme. This is thyme, sesame seeds and some other 'familiar' seasonings and it tasted great on our fish! I just used a pinch on each fish filet and it was good! Definitely could have used more, but don't need much!
