The picture frames were exactly as described, which isn't always the case. They look attractive and are sturdy and well made. I am moving to an other location so I wanted to replace old looking stuff including picture frames. They look great with my pictures that will hang in my new place.

The frames are great for around the house. My wife put family photos and it matches some of the bigger frames of the same style. They are fake wood but they look like the real thing

frames appear to be laminated with wood-like paper. my tape attached to one and the finish pulled off.
