Worked
The spring on one side broke and needed the rod connect to fix it. I just Googled it and Walmart was the only one that came up with the actual UWS replacement. It worked great and toolbox is back to normal. It was delivered earlier than expected, three days. I paid $14 for it which was a little pricey but I had to have it. Cheaper than a new tool box, lol. Part looked just as pictured online.

Perfect for my truck tool box
This worked perfect! I was able to connect the rod between my two handles on my truck tool box and this did the trick!

If you have a toolbox to fix this is it worked great! Good Quality and came with locktite already on it.

Great and inexpensive product.
This ended up being too big for the original latch in my truck box but it fit the one I replaced so I replaced the other latch since I needed one with a lock. The new latches had a bigger hole that the connector would fit through. Basically turned out to be exactly what I needed and I didn't have to fabricate something.
