Spicy V8 is always great tasting and tops off eggs, bacon or ham, and bagel breakfast. Satisfies hunger and nutrition/vitamins needed to get through most of the day. I do wish that the small cans were more value priced to easily grab n go. I'd drink spicey V8 even more.
This is great as a tasty and slightyly spicy healthy drink on it's own and it is also the best start to a homemade Bloody Mary! Cheers!! Did I mention it's equal to 2 servings of veggies and has zero added sugar! This stuff is actually good for you.
SWEETNESS? Someone is smokin' ganja if they are using "sweetness" as a criterion for "SPICY" V-8! And this stuff could be even spicier for me, but it still makes a really nice Bloody Mary (if such a thing exists?). I add some Mexican hot sauce for my taste, but yopuse civilians will be very happy with the 'stock' concoction.
I've always love V8Juice since a teenager,(im an old man now). lol, well when they made V8 spicy i fell in love, i carried this everyday in my cooler at work usually 2 , 12oz. cans per day, made a great pick me up snack my favorite was a can of spicy V8 and a pack of captain s crackers . plus i add it to my chili recipes and other great dishes love that its low on added sugars, the great amount of vegetables in v8 spicy gives a boost to my immunity, and that spicy taste has a nice kick. don't change a thing its perfect
V8 Spicy Hot Vegetable Juice in the 64oz Bottle was a pleasing experience combining the right combination of flavors. It has the desired Hot, Spicy, and vegetable taste, blended into a smooth drink that mixes well with other liquids, or stands alone on its own merits. I enjoyed it as a Yummy thirst quencher, with lots of healthy vitamin C.
I've been a V-8 drinker for years (gotta get those veggies) and this spicy version is a real treat. It's great right out of the bottle, and adds just the right zing to some recipes that call for tomato product. My favorite recipe if very simple: Pour 8oz of V8 Spicy into a tall glass. Add a splash of Worcestershire sauce, a dash of celery salt (optional), and 4oz of premium vodka and stir with a celery stalk. Deeeelish!
I drink some of this first thing most mornings to replenish salt. It is definitely salty! I love that though. Probably avoid this product if you're watching sodium intake. V8 is the OG vegetable juice and priced fairly. No added sugars. I'd say the spice level is about medium, just enough to make it interesting.
This is a great item to keep on hand in the pantry. We use it for all kinds of soups, chilis, a boost of flavor in a one pot meal or casserole and of course just drinking. Love that the "spicy" has just a bit of kick to it but not overpowering especially when cooking with it.
I do love this stuff. The taste is very full and possibly a bit too spicy. That said it dips well and as the ice melts it gets better, cutting the spice a bit. So the last sip is almost better than e first. Works great with a little adult beverage in it.
This is a classic example of "Shrinkflation". Compared to previous V8 Juice offerings, this is a smaller size and a watered down version of what was previously offered at the same price. It does not even remotely taste the same. It is clear that they have cut back on the percentage of vegetables in the juice. It is thinner, and lacks the same taste. This is equally true of their regular V8 juice as well.
