As advertised and delivered on time.
I have used this for years to put patches on sons coveralls and jeans for work. It also hold up for repair on leather tool belt. This glue holds through washing and drying also
I tried the Tear Mender glue on few of my repair projects. So far it works and looks great.I have to say that i did not have a chance to laundry my fixed cloths yet. So I hope the repaired items will last a while.
Amazing item
I use this all the time to patch my boys jeans! I cut a strip from the back of a pair of old jeans and glue it on from the inside of the ones needing the patch. I always patch them before they even have a hole, when they get very thin, it's easier that way. I would like it to be thicker, not so runny, but have to say it holds up very well :-)
I really like using Tear Mender when a patch is needed in a spot that is hard to get to with a sewing machine.
My husband bought a bottle of this stuff a few years ago at the farm store. I used it to patch his jeans and it worked very well. When that bottle ran out, I found it here and purchased a couple more. I use it to patch my son's jeans now too. It works really well to glue jean patches on jeans. I also use it to glue other fabric to jeans. It is a little messy and smells kinda gross, but it really works. It also holds up very well thru many washings.
This product is extremely runny and difficult to control. The actually holding strength is fine when binding 2 pieces of fabric. When mending a tear, the product tends to flake and becomes gummy in texture.
I bought 4 bottles and all 4 of them had hardened into an unusable putty. I'm returning them this week. I have used the product, bought at a local brick and mortar craft store, earlier and felt it worked well. I guess these we're much cheaper for a reason.
I ordered this product with much excitement....thinking it would be just the solution for repairing the strap on a leather purse that I just love. The product did not work! It didn't even hold the leather strap for a second. Wasn't even worth the $5 I spent. Thank goodness I didn't pay for shipping. Don't waste your money or time on this product!
