I have only used it once so far, but it worked great. It ground a deer with ease. This unit replaced my grinder I couldn't get parts for any longer. It seems to be well made, so hopefully it lasts a long time. The only downside is you have to lubricate the head with food grade silicone spray before and after use. There advertising should include this information so you can have it on hand before you need to use the grinder

Heavy duty grinder
I purchased this grinder based on the description describing parts touching meat would be stainless steel. It's a quality stainless steel machine. Very heavy and grinds meat like a boss. However the tray does not appear to be stainless. It's lightweight and dull like aluminum. I try to bypass the tray and drop the meat directly into the chute.
