Valspar 028.0065003.008 Exterior Gold Ultra Flat Paint, Clear Base

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we moved in to our home, the interior had been repainted and looked amazing; however, the exterior needed repainting from years of heat and weather damage. We have always bought Valspar, but had not tried the Gold Ultra Self-Priming Paint, so for this project, we splurged and bought two cans. After the prep work had been completed, we were ready to apply the paint, and were amazed how smooth the coverage was for the house trim work. One application was all that was needed since the paint included the prime, and in one afternoon, we were finished and the house looked fabulous! Leave it to Valspar to continue to update their products for homeowners to be able to complete projects with quality products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Redid a room to be a ursery and this was perfect. I was just painting over basic walls, but this was great as two simple coats of paint. I didn't use a different primer- only this. It goes on smoothly and doesn't drip. I think it looks great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Valspar Pro-Hide Gold Ultra Self Priming Paint is the absolute best! It goes on smooth and primes the wall while you paint! It makes painting so easy because you do not have to prime in advance and let it dry first. One coat and boom, you are done!

The is a great addition if you want to job to look good. I would tell anyone to try it out to see if it works for them. It works for me.

Used to repaint our old miniature horse run-in shed which we are now using as a dog run shed. The color said gold however it is more like a light cream color that actually matches our metal barn beautifully. The paint glided on easily and truly is high quality. Will be purchasing this brand of paint in the future. Recommend highly.

It goes on very smoothly and is easy to wipe up spills if you need too. I really loved the fact that it is a self priming paint. That in itself is the number one thing I love about this paint!!! Just an overall great paint for any exterior paint job you need to do around the house. Will now be my go to paint!
