Valspar 62000 White Pro-Hide Gold Ultra Interior Super One Coat Primer, Eggshell, 1 Gallon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paint is amazing. I used it to paint our hallway which was in desperate need of covering up old stains from the dogs. The paint itself did an amazing job at covering up in addition to leaving an amazing finish! The odor of the paint was not unbearable and dried relatively quick!

I used it to paint my living room which had two large walls which were both painted a dark green. The coverage for this paint took only one coat which surprised me. I will definitely be using this product again when i do another room this spring. Low smell, too.

My experience with yellow painted wall require at least two coats of new paint sometimes three. The product covered in one coat. As a professional painter I would recommend it to anyone who can swing a brush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the Valspar Pro Hide Gold Ultra gives great coverage on my walls. It came out nice and smooth and the dry time was awesome. I did give it some extra dry time just to be sure. I did still add a second coat to make sure that everything looked nice and even. I really liked the color on the walls in my bathroom it makes it nice and bright. Cleaning up was really easy to do, and I found that I have a good extra amount if I would need to do touch ups or even a smaller space later on with the same color.

It definitely covers in one coat. It made my painting project go very fast. There was no off-putting smell. The smell that was there dissipated really quickly. I am confident that this paint will be durable, as I have grandkids that love to touch the walls with their little fingers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Valspar Pro-Hide Gold Ultra, self-priming paint in the middle of winter. Normally painting projects wait until the spring and summer months for a variety of reasons. I cannot attest to the overall application or performance of this product. I painted a test area in my laundry/mud room where it will be going in a few months. Coverage and paint consistency is very good. It is going over a similar shade. I would expect that more coats could be needed if you are covering a much different/darker color. This is a Zero VOC paint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were excited to use this paint as it suggests that it is self priming. I would say yes and no. We used the included brush which worked quite well and provided good coverage. The wall we painted needed 2 solid coats and could have even maybe used a 3rd coat. It wasn't bad but I believe the name slightly over promises or maybe our expectations were too high. Either way… it didn't smell terrible and we were happy with what we painted. I would recommend it but don't be surprised if you need an extra coat that would ordinarily be primer. The photos show before, after 1 coat and the final result.
