Valspar Skylight Latex Matte Flat Ceiling Paint, Soft White, 1 Gal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a small area in my kitchen area requiring ceiling paint. I used Valspar White Ceiling Paint to complete the task. The paint was very easy to apply with both rollers and a paintbrush. After applying the paint it dried very quickly and evenly and left an outstanding finish. This is a premium paint that will meet your expectations. Easy to apply and dries to an excellent finish. It was really helpful that the paint applied matched like for like to my existing ceiling areas. You could not find any color variations helping to deliver a perfect match. Valspar is an excellent product and I would not hesitate to use it on surfaces other than ceilings. Its color and durability make it a very flexible product for walls and trims. Overall, I found it most effective when applying a minimum of two coats of paint to provide an even application. It effectively provides a very comprehensive cover without any evidence of other paint colors or markings. I give the Valspar Ceiling Paint a 5-star Rating for its color, application, and durability.

Now dry and stained it was time for paint. Naturally we went with Valspar Skylight Ceiling paint a no brainer but also picked up a Valspar Wall and Trim Angle 2” brush. Together the quality paint applied with the top of the line and save time correct “cut-in brush” made the job quick and easy. We would recommend both products to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this skylight cieling paint to paint over some old water stains on my cieling in my house as well as my neighbors house, which unfortunately got some bad leaks during a bad storm. This paint was really easy to work with and did a great job of covering the stains. 1 coat seemed to work but we opted to do 2 coats just so we there's a less chance of having to touch it up in the future. As much as I absolutely hate painting, this job was not as bad as I was expecting.

This is the perfect color, it goes on lightweight, dries easily and doesn't leave any streaks. Its perfect for well lit spaces and is easy to clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Valspar Skylight Ceiling Paint goes on smoothly and with little spatter, which is extremely important when painting on a ceiling overhead. The coverage works well and the matte finish looks great when the paint has dried. The paint dries to the touch in 1 hour and can be recoated in 2-4 hours. One gallon is rated to cover 400 sqare feet, which is good to know for planning purposes. This paint comes standard in “white” so it is perfect for a ceiling where you are painting the entire thing. If you plan to use this for “touch ups” on an existing ceiling, it would be best to stir the paint with a paint stirrer (let it dry) and see how it compares with the current color before proceeding. Otherwise, there are no complaints with this ceiling paint as it does a great job. When paired with the Valspar Wall and Trim 2” angle brush, cutting in the edge between the ceiling and wall is simple.

When it was time to paint the ceiling, I got this can out, stirred it and applied it with the brush I got with it. It was really nice. It covered easily and the spatter was at a minimal. I would recommend this product to everyone needing ceiling paint.
